Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Blur Primer is a product that I have been admiring from afar for so long. I rarely dare to buy full size products that cost more than 15 pounds or so as afterwards I end up regretting my decision and think about all the products I could have bough to show you for the same amount of money. That is not very productive, I know, but it happens which is why I always prefer to test the products out before ordering them or going to get them. Sometimes, I might give in, but usually I do try to abstain myself and the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Blur Primer is one product I managed to not buy during one of my many visits to Selfridges, but luckily, the department store decided to make it part of their beauty advent calendar collaboration with L’Oreal!
The Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Blur Primer is so beautiful, but oh so beautiful from the first time you see it upclose. I mean, it has this speckles of glitter like particles inside and it is so shiny! I feel like a kid in a toy store right now, but this product is ah-mazing! The packaging and the way it looks is not all that is great about it though. Despite being unlike any other primer, I loved it. The primer has a transparent, gel like formula. It is not silicon nor lotion like, it is something completely different. I feel like it feels somewhat wet or oily as you apply it, but surprisingly it does not leave your skin oily and greasy in any shape or form. The primer helps the foundation glide in an extraordinary manner, for real. The foundation will just glide over this primer. I did not mean to repeat myself, I just wanted to emphasise just how easy it becomes to apply your foundation. Most importantly, the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Blur Primer leave your face looking radiant and flawless.
Overall, despite what I said before, I wish I had bought this product ages ago as this is one of the best primers I have ever tried. It feels kinda strange to apply it due to its bizarre formulation, but the results are so great that you do not want to miss out on this product. Also, the strange feeling I mentioned before is not in any way bad, it it just so different, but different can be good.
