The Oskia Renaissance Mask is the 10th product from the LookFantastic beauty advent calendar and a product that I first encountered in the October subscription box from them around October/November last year.
The first time I tried the strange looking, gel like mask I was hooked. It does not have an incredible smell and personally I do not like touching the product all that much as it has a strange texture, but it feels so nice and relaxing on the face. Oskia Renaissance is one of those masks that don’t bother you; you do not truly feel it as it is not drying and tugging at your face so you can easily go about doing your stuff without thinking about the product on your face. Furthermore, if you are like me and lived in a place where fire alarms and evacuations were incredibly frequent, you will learn to appreciate this mask even more as you cannot really see it. Sure, it is there and your face looks a bit glossy, but the product is so clear that it might just pass as invisible, well that is until it turns white-ish. Great way to pamper yourself and avoid embarrassment. Or is it just me who is mortified about having a cute guy seeing me with a green or blue face?
Okay, so now that we got that out of the way, let me tell you about the aftermath of applying this face mask. The first thing you will notice is that your face is clear of dead cells and the skin will be able to breathe. I love that feeling, don’t you? Furthermore, your face will look brighter and your overall complexion will change dramatically. You will look well rested and even happier. Of course, it probably won’t actually impact your feelings or it might, who knows? However, you will look visibly more relaxed and thus give the impression that you are happier as well, if that makes sense. The best part? The product is organic!
Overall, I am totally in love with Oskia Renaissance Mask and I am so happy to have gotten my hands on two of them this time around, one from the LF calendar and one from another calendar (yeah, you caught me, I don’t remember which – I think it was JoHn Lewis, but not sure anymore). Normally, I might be unhappy to have received duplicates, but in this case I am not as the product is really good, but the price tag not so much – think around £1 per ml.
